This week The Rider are overjoyed to be joined by Baltic Fleet’s Paul Fleming. Baltic Fleet won the GIT Award a few years back and Paul is one of Liverpool’s most exciting artists. His album “The Dear One” has elicited all sorts of mainstream praise and is one of the best records of the year so far. And it is pretty deep into the year.
In short he is a proper grown-up genius. And we are made up to have him aboard this week.
Though he doesn’t seem to go the tip as often as we would like. Can’t have everything and The Rider goes the tip more than enough to make up for anyone else. There is all the usual nonsense.
We obviously play something from “The Dear One”, Paul picks two of his favourite tracks from the last month or so, and Neil Atkinson, Steph Heneghan and John Gibbons all have their own belters to play plus an exclusive play of new band Lilium’s first single.
